I needed a break from ny Nano Novel today, despite going to a write in (by the way Wendy ^^ they take place in Dublin everywednesday at 7 pm at Barnes and Nobel, the east bay liason is at them) I couldnt' work on my novel. So I jsut wrote the first thing that came into my head.

I'm on a roll today. Over 2,000 words written in one sitting. Sure its tiny fraction of the ultimate goal but I feel pretty good about it.

So I didn't work on my novel today but I did write. I jsut couldn't get int eh groove for my nano novel, so instead I wrote up a 2 page plot for a storie ina web comic I'm writing and doing with my friend Antonio. Everyone needs a little break. |

So since I'm a graphic artist first and a writer second, I often draw to help clear my mind or relax from stress. As a result of this I posted on teh nano Fantasy forum that I am willing to do rough character sketches or cover art for free. I did how ever put in the note that if i get bogged down I apologize in adavance on any pictures I'm not able to do ^_^ I'm excited about this and I think it'll be a blast. Anyways its a great way for me to get out there and get known, who knows maybe some ones magically with a publishing company that needs artist or something. I mean Nano land has people from ALL over the world.

I went to the Sanfransico kick off, it was a blast met alot of people and had alot of fun. I'm really excited about doing this now.
For all those reading thois who as at the kick off, I was the girl who drew on the back of peoples name cards. |
